FACULTY ANNUAL REVIEW (FAR)
UMBI's Office of Faculty Affairs oversees and facilitates faculty annual review processes (FAR). This page contains links to the instructions and forms that the faculty will need to complete their annual evaluations. This process is for ladder-rank faculty (tenure track, tenured and non-tenure track) and Research Associates (postdoctoral researchers). Please note that the evaluation of Faculty Research Assistants (FRAs) is conducted through the PMP process.
The FAR should be used as an opportunity to celebrate faculty successes, develop mechanisms for continued success, and provide guidance for professional advancement. UMBI's Policy II-1.20A Evaluation of Performance of Faculty establishes the requirement that all faculty employees are afforded this opportunity annually.
