Emergency Alert Information Page

Sign up for Emergency Alerts

1.) Goto http://www.umbi.umd.edu/alerts/erp.php and click the "Add Your Email Address" link to change your password or add email addresses to your alert profile.

2.) Enter your alert system username and password into the boxes provided and click the button labelled "Login".

3.) Click the link tab labelled "Services" to add an email address.

4.) Find the section labelled "Email" and text box labelled "Add an Email" within which you may enter the desired email address.*

5.) Click the "Add" button which will simultaneously send a validation code to your email account and bring up a page containing a field within which you must enter the code you recieved via email to activate this address.

6.) Close the browser page after you enter the validation code.

7.) You may repeat this process to add up to 3 email addresses.

 

*Alternatively, you may click the "Groups" Tab to change the groups to which you wish to belong by clicking the "subscribe" or "unsubscribe" links next to the group names as desired.
