Established in 1987, CBR is a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary research center with state-of-the-art laboratories in two locations. Our laboratories in the Plant Sciences Building on the campus of the University of Maryland College Park opened in 1996 and enables CBR to effectively partner with Maryland's largest campus. Our laboratories at Shady Grove opened in 2006 as a joint venture with CARB and this partnership allows us to contribute to the growth of Maryland's high-tech corridor.
