UMBI is privileged to have a modern state of the art network infrastructure which connects various geographically dispersed Centers in three cities.  This network also connects to the Internet and Internet2. UMBI's converged voice/data network supports, IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, electronic mail and calendar, resource scheduling, web publication, file sharing, collaboration, data replication, remote access and a host of other services. UMBI has several nodes on the high speed USM network to provide researchers with multiple access points to computing resources nationwide.
